Surface Ovarian Endometriosis

Red Polypoid endometriosis on the surface of the right ovary.  The cluster has a diameter of 2 mm.

     

Chocolate Cysts

Figures 9 to 13.  Stripping of a chocolate cyst.  Chocolate cysts can be endometriosis, hemorrhagic ovulatory (corpus luteum) cysts or other hemorrhagic cysts.

Figure 13.  Hemostasis is created in the ovarian defect using bipolar electrosurgery.  The edges collapse together and no sutures are used.
